Auditor Eligibility Requirements The audit firm must meet the following minimum eligibility and technical requirements: Possess valid and renewed professional and business licenses in Ethiopia. Be legally authorized to provide external audit services in Ethiopia and maintain the necessary professional registrations. The audit firm must have a valid business license, Tax Identification Number (TIN) and applicable VAT registration. Additionally, the audit firms must be duly licensed and authorized by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) and maintain its professional license in good standing. Provide a firm profile, including statistics on overall industry experience and client references. Proposed Audit Team Composition The proposed audit team should include: An Audit Manager with a minimum of ten (10) years of audit experience, including experience auditing donor-funded projects.
