Invitation to Bid: Event Organization and Management Services for the EDGE Program (Readvertisement)Tender Reference: EDGE/RFP/HD/0002/2026Client: Hybrid Designs PLC (EDGE Program) Overview: Hybrid Designs PLC, the lead implementing partner of the Mastercard Foundation’s Entrepreneurship in the Digital and Gig Economy (EDGE) Program, is seeking a qualified and experienced event management firm. The selected firm will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of three high-quality regional awareness events aimed at integrating disadvantaged youth and young women into the digital and gig economy. Event Locations: Hawassa (Hawassa University) Jimma (Jimma University) Jigjiga (Jigjiga University) Key Scope of Work: The selected firm must provide full turnkey event management, including but not limited to: Planning & Coordination: Full execution schedule and stakeholder coordination. Branding & Materials: Design and setup of EDGE partner booths, backdrops, and promotional materials (Note: limited to 500 printed flyers per event to promote digital engagement). Youth Mobilization: Recruitment and management of youth mobilizers, student representatives, and on-site registration. Logistics & Setup: Procurement and operation of high-end AV equipment (cinema projectors, sound systems, stage lights, etc.). Entertainment (New Requirement): Sourcing and managing local entertainment (live music, cultural performers, or DJs) to maintain high audience energy. Hospitality: Traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony and VIP refreshments at all locations. Media Coverage: Professional photography, 4K/HD highlight videos, and optimized social media clips for each event. Reporting: Collection of attendance records, per diem disbursements, and comprehensive post-event M&E reporting.
