INVITATION FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE Save the Environment – Ethiopia (SEE), a national non-governmental organization dedicated to improving livelihoods and promoting environmental sustainability, hereby invites eligible and qualified external audit firms to undertake the final external audit of its financial accounts. The audit assignment relates to the project: “Control and Utilization of Prosopis Juliflora Integrated with Livelihood Improvement and Environmental Protection in Liban Zone (Dollo-Ado & Bokolmayo Districts)” (PROTEC-24 Project)- GRANT CODE Z03/24/01/03500 -- 2024Qde00035 - Funded by AECID and implemented in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. 1. Purpose and Scope of the Audit The objective of this assignment is to conduct a comprehensive external audit of the final report and full supporting account of the AECID grant covering the period May 31, 2024 to May 30, 2026. The audit will include, but not be limited to: · Verification of technical and financial reports, including results and sources of verification · Review of the complete supporting account (financial statements, vouchers, and certifications) · Assessment of expenditure eligibility and compliance · Application of sampling techniques on supporting documents · Evaluation of internal control systems and financial management practices All audit activities, methodology, deliverables, and reporting requirements must strictly comply with the attached Terms of Reference (ToR), which forms an integral part of this announcement. 2.
