Background The United Nations World Food Programme in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia invites interested and qualified companies to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Provision of Overland (cross-border) Transport Services from Djibouti to Ethiopia. B. Objective This invitation for expression of interest aims to identify qualified local companies for the provision of overland transport services from Djibouti to Ethiopia. The shortlisted companies will be invited to participate in a competitive bidding process to provide the above-mentioned services. Based on the results of the bidding process, WFP may conclude a contract with one or more companies for the provision of the named services. C. Eligibility Criteria This Invitation for Expression of Interest is open to qualified local companies in Ethiopia. Companies must have a representative or office in the relevant WFP operational location (or be willing to establish an office/assign a representative upon contract award) and should be able to provide services in the specified locations.
