Tender Invitation Letter Project Title: Biqu Wetat Programme – Unlocking the Potential of Ethiopia’s Conflict-Affected Youth in Tigray and Afar Tender Reference No.: SENE/050/2026 Date: June 5, 2026 Subject: Invitation to Bid – Supply of Mobility Aids Special Educational Needs in Ethiopia (SENEthiopia), a national CSO promoting disability inclusion through education, health, and development initiatives, hereby invites eligible and qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for the Supply and Delivery of Mobility Aids. Scope of Bid The procurement includes, but is not limited to, the following items: Smart White Canes (ultrasonic sensors, vibration alerts, ergonomic design) Standard White Canes (lightweight, foldable, non-slip grip, rolling tip) Elbow/Forearm Crutches (adjustable height, ergonomic forearm cuff, durable aluminum alloy) Wheelchairs and other mobility support equipment as specified in the bidding documents. Bid Requirements Interested bidders must submit bids accompanied by the following documents: Renewed license of Medical Equipment and Pharmaceutical FDA (Food and Drug Authorization) licence VAT Registration Certificate and VAT Declaration Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Supplier’s Certificate Bid Security of 2% of the bid amount in the form of CPO Submission Deadline Bids must be delivered in hard copy to SENEthiopia, Mekelle – Adi-Haky Sub-City, Kebelle Hdase, on or before June 23, 2026, at 9:00 PM. Electronic submissions will not be accepted. Late bids will be rejected. Bid Opening Bids will be publicly opened at the same address on June 23, 2026, at 9:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to attend. SENEthiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process at any time prior to contract award without obligation to inform bidders of the grounds for its decision.
