Introduction The Operation Smile Ethiopia invites eligible suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for long term supply of Pharmaceuticals for Operation Smile Ethiopia. The purpose of this EOI is to identify capable suppliers for a forthcoming solicitation process. 2. Description of Requirements The required medical supplies include, but are not limited to: Infection Control Supplies Surgical Instruments and Equipment Essential Medications Medical Consumables Please see the reference list attached. 3. Eligibility Criteria Interested companies must provide evidence of the following: Valid business registration/license for trading in medical supplies and equipment. Regulatory authorization from EFDA to handle and distribute medical equipment/medicines. Minimum 2 years of experience in the medical supply chain. Compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001, WHO GMP, or equivalent). A commitment letter for the company’s ability to register (if item is not registered) and import supplies that are not readily available in the Ethiopia market. The company should be able to supply at least 75% of the items in the item reference list. 4. Submission Requirements Interested suppliers must submit their EOI in English, including: 1. Company Profile: Brief presentation, staff strength, and years in business.2. Registration Certificate: Copy of business license and tax registration.3. Relevant Experience: List of at least 3 references/contracts completed within the last 2 years, specifically for medical supplies and equipment.4. Quality Documentation: Copies of ISO certifications or product regulatory approvals. Note: Prices are not required at this stage. 5.
