Ethio Telecom Notification of Bid Closing Date Extension and Addendum: National competitive bids are invited for the supply of pole accessories and cables, 11m impregnated wooden poles, 300 and 500 daN concrete poles, and various capacities of circuit breakers under RFQ Nos. 4287312, 4287313, 4287314, and 4287324.

To: All Bid Participants It is remembered that Ethio telecom has issued National Competitive Bid (NCB) with RFQ Nos. 4287312, 4287313, 4287314 and 4287324 with bid floating period from October 06, 2026, to October 27, 2026, for the procurement of Pole Accessories and Cables, 11mts Impregnated Wooden Poles, 300 and 500 daN Concrete poles and Different Capacities of Circuit Breakers respectively. In response to this NCB invitation, you have collected the bidding documents and some of the participated bidders have requested clarifications on the technical requirements and extension of bid closing date. Accordingly, bidders’ clarification requests are under thorough review for appropriate responses. However, until now, the clarification responses have not been finalized to communicate all participated and prospective bidders. In addition, Ethio telecom has reviewed its resource requirements and opted to fulfil from internal inventory. As a result, Ethio telecom has made addendum to the bidding document issued under all RFQs by changing the contract type of the purchase from onetime to MFA and to the bidding document issued under RFQ#4287312 by excluding the following lists of Concrete Pole Accessories with its respective quantities from the bid: 15kV Suspension/Light Angle Cross-arm =>2,475 pcs, 33kV Suspension/Light Angle Cross-arm =>745 pcs, 15kV Composite Pin Insulator => 7,432 pcs, Long Bolt with Nut and Washer M16, 40 cm => 3,156 pcs and the RFQ number also changed from RFQ#4287312 to RFQ#4287312,1 for referencing purposes.
