Ref #: HAE/011/26 HelpAge Ethiopia, as part of the HelpAge International global network, has constructed inclusive latrines across Ethiopia to improve access to safe, accessible, and dignified sanitation facilities for older people, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and other persons with specific needs (PSNs). These facilities benefit internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, and host communities by promoting dignity, independence, safety, and inclusion, enabling users to meet their sanitation and hygiene needs with greater comfort and reduced reliance on caregivers. HelpAge Ethiopia is duly registered by the FDRE Authority for Civil Society Organization bearing Registration Number 7632. HelpAge Ethiopia is now seeking bids from qualified bidders’ grade 7 and above contractors for the construction of Accessible Household Latrines in Sherkole, Tsore, Ura and Bambasi refugee camps, in Benishangul Gumuz, Assosa. Total cost of Construction Work, supply and all necessary materials. Requirements: A trade license and construction service certificates valid for the current fiscal year (2026 GC or 2019 E.C). A valid registration certificate from the Woreda/Zone microenterprise development (IMX) office is also acceptable. Tax and TIN registration certificate. Renewed Business License in respective area. Proof of track record of similar work & Testimonies of related services Clarity of specifications and descriptions Bid bond: 2% in the form of CPO only.
